Plea negotiations continue for the man known as “Uncle Fester”.
FOX11 reports that 65-year-old Stephen Preisler of Green Bay, also known by his pen name “Uncle Fester”, was in court this week for a plea hearing, and no agreement was reached, meaning a trial date is yet to be set.
Preisler gained notoriety for his books, which depicted the methods of making ricin, methamphetamine, and other drugs.
Preisler was arrested last year for a long list of drug-related charges, including allegedly running a meth lab with an estimated $65,000 worth of the drug being found in his home.
Earlier this year, he was arrested again for an additional drug charge and felony bail jumping.
Preisler’s defense attorney has said that while no agreement has been reached, negotiations remain ongoing to resolve four separate cases his client faces.
The man known as “Uncle Fester” will be back in court on November 20th, and if plea negotiations cannot be made, a trial date will likely be set.
