The Appleton Public Library has announced they are almost ready to move back to their original home.
The last day the library will be open at its temporary 3000 East College Avenue location will be Monday, November 25th.
A groundbreaking event took place in July of last year at the original 225 North Oneida Street location to begin renovations to the library.
Over a year later, they are gearing up for a move back home.
Following the last day of operations at the temporary location, the library will be closed for an extended period as they pack and move.
While the exact date of their reopening is yet to be confirmed, they hope it will be in early 2025 as they finalize the construction schedule. Renderings, Updates, and a full timeline of the library’s renovations can be found online at apl.org/building.
