Jerry, half of the namesake of Tom and Jerry’s, has passed away.
The popular mini golf and batting cages in Plymouth announced that Gerald “Jerry” Weiser has passed away.
In 1993, brothers Tom and Jerry Weiser and their wives Terri and Mary bought the land and opened the mini golf course in 1994.
In the 30 years since opening, the family added 18 holes of mini golf and batting cages.
The Weisers enjoyed mini-golfing together in the Wisconsin Dells and decided to bring the fun back to Sheboygan County.
However, as the name would suggest, they had to resolve a legal dispute with a popular cartoon company.
Years later, in 2021 Jerry and his family sold Tom and Jerry’s to Sarah and Mark McMullen.
The McMullens have carried on creating good times and lasting memories for families throughout the area just as Jerry envisioned.
Wieser was 71.
