Sisters Madison and Megan Lamers have won their first-round match in the Division One bracket at The WIAA State Individual Girls Tennis Championships in Madison.
The Roncalli/Two Rivers duo defeated seniors Taylor Pressler and Ally Quaschnick of Eau Claire North 6-3, 6-0 to improve to 19 and 6.
They next play seniors Jacquelyn Cox and Lily Schultz of Arrowhead, who won in straight sets Thursday afternoon over seniors Sophie Lin and Mary Sullivan of Notre Dame (Green Bay).
