The 2024 Fireman’s Games, held in Reedsville over the weekend, have been deemed a big success.
Firefighters from the Collins, Elkhart Lake, Francis Creek, Kellnersville, Kiel, Maribel, Menchalville, Plymouth, Reedsville, and Wayside Fire Departments partook in the event, which raised a total of $18,000.
That money is being split between the departments, meaning each firehouse is getting $1,800.
The goal of the event was to get each fire station $1,500 to help offset the cost of equipment.
Organizers say they hope to make this a yearly tradition.
