A man is facing several charges after being arrested twice in the same day.
Manitowoc police officers were dispatched to the trailer park in the 2000 block of Johnston Drive just before 3:00 Friday morning (October 18th) after receiving a call reporting that a man had shot out the windows of a truck.
The caller told police he had approached the 25-year-old man outside of their trailer because the suspect had been “messing around” with his girlfriend.
The suspect left the area, but sent messages to the victim telling him he was going to get a gun.
He returned a short time later and allegedly shot the windows out of the victim’s truck.
The suspect was arrested for Obstructing an Officer, Criminal Damage to Property, Disorderly Conduct, and seven counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
Then, at 7:30 p.m. the same day, officers were dispatched to the area of South 35th Street and Yorkshire Lane on a report that the same man had thrown an object at a woman’s car.
The man had a no-contact order with the woman, leading to him being arrested again, this time on charges of Obstructing, Disorderly Conduct, and eight counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
