Election season is here, and in-person absentee voting is now underway.
In-person absentee voting for the general election has opened today (October 22nd), and the City of Sheboygan has nine dates on which votes may be cast in person before election day on November 5th.
Early, in-person voting occurs at the City Clerk’s Office inside City Hall.
In Sheboygan, in-person absentee voting will be held today through October 25th and again from October 28th until November 1st.
Each day, voting will open at 7:30 a.m. and close at 4:30 p.m. with the exception of the 24th and 25th, with polls closing at 6:30 and 3:30, respectively.
Sheboygan is also offering curbside voting for those who need it.
As for mailed absentee ballots, they are recommended to be sent out at least a week before election day.
They can also be dropped off at the City Clerk’s Office, your local polling place on election day, or the City’s official ballot drop box at the Maed Public Library drive-thru.
As always, voter registration is required and can be checked online at myvote.wi.gov.
Call the City Clerk’s Office at 920-459-3361 for assistance if you require curbside voting.
