The City of Sheboygan will be holding a prescription drug take-back day this weekend.
Healthy Sheboygan County, in cooperation with the Wisconsin Department of Justice and the Drug Enforcement Administration, will hold the event on Saturday (October 26th) from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
There will be four locations where Sheboyganites can drop off their prescription drugs, including Generations in Plymouth, Random Lake and Oostburg Fire Departments, and Saint Nicholas Hospital.
Participants are permitted to bring in prescription and over-the-counter medications, ointments, inhalers, pet medications, and more.
Participants are not permitted to bring in illegal drugs, needles, bio-hazardous materials, amongst other items.
The prescription drug take-back day is a safe, responsible, and convenient means of drug disposal.
