With election season dividing people one organization holds a bright happy light.
Julie Ribbly from Manitowoc County’s 100+ Women Who Care was on the Hello Lakeshore Podcast, where she gave some insight into what women do to help those who help others.
“It’s actually part of a national alliance, and we were able to make one in Manitowoc County,” she explained. “We met, and then we started this organization or this initiative…and we are super excited about it.”
The women have been doing good all over the county and the continue to look to support the businesses who love Manitowoc County.
Julie is proud with how much the women have raised to the non-profits in Manitowoc County and says she is excited to help many more in the time to come.
In fact, she revealed, “So far, we have given away $185,000 in the community to non-profits, which directly goes back to serving our community members in Manitowoc County.”
