Several local high school girls’ volleyball teams begin their “Run to the Resch” in Ashwaubenon tonight, site of the WIAA State Tournament next month.
Regional semi-finals in Division One include Manitowoc Lincoln hosting West Bend East at the JFK.
Other D-1 matchups have Sheboygan North travelling to Neenah, West De Pere hosting Hortonville, Pulaski heading to Green Bay Southwest, Green Bay Preble hitting the road to Appleton North, and Appleton East hosting De Pere.
In Division Four, top-seed Manitowoc Lutheran is home for Kohler, Reedsville travels to Jackson to meet Living Word Lutheran, Lourdes Academy (Oshkosh) hosts Sheboygan Lutheran and Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah is in Oshkosh to tangle with Valley Christian.
Valders has the top seed in its Division Three bracket, where The Vikings host Winnebago Lutheran (Fond Du Lac). Elsewhere in D-3, Kiel travels to Chilton, Brillion visits Cedar Grove-Belgium, Oostburg hosts St. Mary Springs (Fond Du Lac), Kewaunee is home for Peshtigo, Tomahawk travels to Wrightstown and Bonduel hosts Clintonville.
The Division Two slate has Howards Grove heading to Green Bay to meet Notre Dame, Sheboygan Falls hosting Campbellsport, Denmark travels to Freedom, and Fox Valley Lutheran (Appleton) hosting Little Chute.
In Division Five Sheboygan Christian hosts Chesterton Academy of Milwaukee and Hilbert heads to Gresham.
