Residents in Fox Crossing are being asked to boil their water until further notice.
The Fox Crossing Water Utility issued a boil water notice for its west side system this morning (October 28th).
This includes the area west of Little Lake Butte des Morts, Stroebe Island, West Prospect Avenue, and the Town of Clayton.
In a post online, the Village of Fox Crossing has also noted that anyone on the west side is affected by the boil water notice.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Health, boil water notices are putout when drinking water is suspected to be unsafe.
Fox Crossing residents are asked not to use tap water for drinking or food preparation but rather safe water, such as bottled water or water boiled for one minute.
