Hours are changing again at Manitowoc County Compost sites.
An announcement from Operations Manager Jon Reisenbuechler explains that beginning this Saturday (November 2nd), the Recycling Center Main Office closes on Saturday and will reopen on Saturday, April 25th.
Beginning November 16th, the Basswood Road and Woodland Drive Compost site hours are also changing.
The Basswood Composite site will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. until noon.
The Woodland Drive Compost Site will close until April 2025.
Items that will be accepted include brushes, branches, leaves, lawn clippings, as well as some flowers and plants.
Items that aren’t accepted include ashes, treated or untreated lumber, trash, or construction or demolition waste.
