On top of the local cross-country teams that are headed to Wisconsin Rapids for the State Meet, numerous individuals have qualified as well.
Eastern Wisconsin is most well represented in Division 3, where Mishicot’s Juliana Doerner, Reedsville’s Allena O’Connell, and Brillion’s Alana Kempen all made the cut.
Also traveling to Ridges Golf Course this Saturday will be Eddy Giebler of Sheboygan Lutheran, Kelsie Dekker and Matthew Wilterdink of Oostburg, Howards Grove’s Nina Goedeke, and Brynlee Schmidt of Cedar Grove-Belgium.
In Division 2, Two Rivers was the only area school to send individual runners, with Breanne Kulpa, Ashley Groothoff, and Eli Gallagher all slated to make the trip.
In Division 1, Manitowoc Lincoln’s Natalie Portmann earned a spot in the field, as did Joseph Hunt from Notre Dame, Ashwaubenon runners Ryan Jadin and Carter Thompson, De Pere’s Bella Heideman, West De Pere’s Kate Schmoll and Carson Samson, and Morgan Breed from Appleton West.
