Katrina Baur, the mother of Elijah Vue, has entered a not guilty plea in relation to the death of her child.
Baur appeared in court via Zoom today (October 30th) in front of Judge Anthony Lambrecht for her arraignment.
Baur’s attorney, Amber Gratz, entered not-guilty pleas for all charges her client faces.
Baur is facing felony charges of chronic neglect of a child, consequence is death, neglecting a child, and two misdemeanor counts of obstructing an officer for her alleged involvement in the death of her son which has been ruled “homicide by unspecified means”.
Gratz also asked Judge Lambrecht to amend bail conditions to allow Baur to have contact with her daughter.
Judge Lambrecht approved the request as long as it gained approval through a CHIPs hearing.
Baur is next due back in court for a scheduling conference on February 12th, 2025, at 10:30 a.m.
