Larry Kenneth Kittell passed away at the age of 79 on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at River’s Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.
Larry was born on January 7, 1945 to Kenneth and Ruth (Struck) Kittell. He graduated from Kewaunee High School. On June 6, 1964 Larry married Bonita “Bonnie” Duescher at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, town of Montpelier. The couple were married 60 years. Larry was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Manitowoc and the Lions Club. He worked for Imperial Eastman and Under Writers Service Company, but always wanted his own business. Larry and his wife Bonnie owned and operated Larry’s Shell for ten years and then sold the business to travel. The couple traveled the United States, Europe and Canada, and enjoyed many cruises. God has truly blessed them.
Larry and Bonnie have two children: Jeannine (Jack) Powalisz, Two Rivers, and Kenneth (Donna) Kittell, Mayville; five grandchildren: Jenelle (Eric) Wallander, Two Rivers, Bailey (Andrew) Beeken, Horicon, Adrianna Powalisz, Manitowoc, Stacy (Justin) Ruckel, Green Bay, Lindsay (Dustin) Olson, Manitowoc; five great-grandchildren: Westin, Alaina and Teegan Wallander and twins; Mabel and Grace Ruckel; two sisters-in-law; Julaine Mueller and Karen Hrabik, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Kenneth and Ruth Kittell; father and mother-in-law: Orville and Elda Duescher; brothers-in-law: Erwin Mueller and Wenzel “Bucko” Hrabik; and his nieces daughter: Britney Ebert.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1712 Menasha Avenue, Manitowoc. Pastor Don Krause will officiate. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
