Manitowoc Lutheran and Mishicot fared well at the Big East Conference Girls Cross Country meet.
The Indians’ Juliana Doerner was the #2 runner on the day, earning her 1st Team All-Conference honors, while her teammate Hailey Dondlinger finished 18th to earn 2nd Team honors, while Kayla Dondlinger was 29th, earning honorable mention status.
For the Lancers, Adriel Barthel and Isabella Eick earned 2nd team honors thanks to their 13th and 17th place finishes, while teammates Addison Korte, Maren Dewane, and Selah Schulz received honorable mention status with 23rd, 24th, and 30th place finishes respectively.
Kohler was dominant at the meet at Cedar Grove-Belgium High School, with Maggie Behler being the top finisher, Milian Pociask coming in 3rd, Ella Loest was 6th, and Emily Hocevar finished 10th, earning them all 1st Team honors, while Sophia Kwacz was 12th, giving her 2nd team honors.
Also earning 1st team honors were Sheboygan Area Lutheran’s Ella Heronumus with an 8th place finish, Brynlee Schmidt of Cedar Grove-Belgium, who finished 9th, Kelsie Dekker of Oostburg thanks to her 5th place finish, and St. Mary Catholic’s Lauren Ripley and Claire Higgins, who were 4th and 7th respectively.
