HSHS St. Vincent Children’s Hospital continued its annual tradition of celebrating Halloween with the infants in its newborn intensive care unit (NICU).
The staff and families of the infants helped dress the babies in their first Halloween costumes, which included a witch, a wizard, a mermaid, and a unicorn.
A set of twins were even dressed up in matching scuba diver outfits.
James Burke, the Manager of HSHS St. Vincent Children’s Hospital’s NICU said of the tradition, “We hope that by helping families dress up their infants for the holiday, we can bring them some joy during a challenging time.”
