Today is Election Day, and there could be plenty on your ballot, depending on where you vote.
The biggest race is the Presidential Election, with the top two candidates being Vice President Kamala Harris running for the Democrats while former President Donald Trump is running for the Republicans.
Another highly contested race is for a Wisconsin US Senate Seat.
Democrat Tammy Baldwin is trying to win a third term running against Republican Eric Hovde.
Both the presidential and senate races are considered toss-ups after recent polling.
Other countywide races include the 6th District Congressional seat.
Incumbent Republican Glenn Grothman is running against Democrat John Zarbano.
Locally, depending on where you live, there is a race for a seat in the Wisconsin Assembly.
One race is Republican Paul Tittl, looking to keep his seat as he runs against Democrat Challenger Steve Welch in the 25th Assembly District.
Other races have Incumbent Shae Sortwell in District 2 running against Alicia Saunders.
The 3rd District race covers much of the county’s western part and has Incumbent Ron Tusler facing off against Challenger Jason Schmitz.
The last assembly race is in the 27th District, and someone new will represent it.
Republican Lindee Brill is running against Democrat Kay Ladson.
A ballot could include a referendum as well.
Statewide, a Wisconsin Constitutional referendum is asking voters if a section to be amended to “provide that only a United States citizen age 18 or older who resides in an election district may vote in an election for national, state, or local office or at a statewide or local referendum?”
Also, if you live in the Kiel, Mishicot, Sheboygan, or Valders School District, the referendum will include a question about money.
Polls open at 7:00 a.m. this morning (November 5th) and close at 8:00 p.m..
