The Chief of Police in Sheboygan has announced his retirement.
WHBL reports that Chief Christopher Domagalski gave word of his retirement to Mayor Ryan Sorenson and City Administrator Casey Bradley on October 29th.
Domagalski’s retirement will be effective January 21st, 2025, and his last day of work will be January 20th.
In a letter to the Mayor and City Administrator, the Chief expressed his thanks to them, members of the community, and his fellow officers with the Sheboygan Police Department, noting the sacrifices each one of them makes every day.
He also said he looks forward to the work they will do in the future to help improve public safety in the city.
Domagalski became Chief of Police in the City of Sheboygan in January of 2010.
