We now know who will be representing the newly redrawn 27th Assembly District.
Republican Lindee Brill was named the winner over Democrat Kay Ladson, winning in dominating fashion.
We were able to speak with Brill at Lakeshore Lanes, the host of the Sheboygan County Republican Party Election festivities, and she thanked the voters for taking a chance on her.
“We’ve run this whole campaign, our whole team, as a We the People candidacy,” she explained. “You showed up and showed what it means to you and what you wanted and that our values align. I’m so thankful. I look forward to representing you in Madison.”
She credited her win to relaying the truth to the voters.
“People just want to have trust back in our government again,” she said.
Other Assembly winners were Shae Sortwell in District 2, Ron Tussler in District 3, Paul Tittl in District 25, and Robert Brooks in District 59, all of whom are Republicans.
