The City of Manitowoc has announced who will be the Parade Marshal for the 36th annual Lakeshore Holiday Parade.
Briess Malt and Ingredients was awarded the designation because of the hard work getting Manitowoc named the “Specialty Malt Capital of The World.”
Briess is responsible for creating malts for over half of the craft breweries across the country and even overseas.
The city also credits the company for reviving Manitowoc as a port city by receiving shipments of barley from Great Lakes cargo ships docking in the Manitowoc River.
This year’s parade will be on Wednesday, November 27th at 6:30 pm.
It will begin at Washington and South 14th Street and will finish at the Rahr-West Art Museum.
