Grow it Forward of Manitowoc is set to kick off its Winter Farmers Market this weekend.
The Winter Farmers Market will be held twice a month through April, beginning tomorrow (November 9th) at 8:00 a.m. and going until noon.
The indoor market has changed locations this year and will now be held at The Venue at Union Square in Downtown Manitowoc.
Approximately 20 vendors have signed up to participate in the first market of the season which will feature products such as local produce, maple syrup, eggs, beef, and more.
By holding this event through the winter months, Grow It Forward is looking to increase access to healthy food, build community, support the local economy, and provide marketing opportunities for small businesses and local farmers.
