A teenager is facing charges after he fought with Manitowoc Police Officers and nurses at a local hospital.
Officers were dispatched to Lincoln Park just before 9:00 Thursday evening (November 7th) on a report of an individual who had injured himself in a bathroom.
EMS were first on the scene, and loaded the 17-year-old male into an ambulance.
Another minor approached the ambulance smelling of alcohol, and admitted to police that the injured teen was intoxicated and fell in the restroom causing the injury.
A total of four juveniles were cited for underage drinking before the officers made their way to a local hospital where the other teen was taken.
Shortly after their arrival, the teen began fighting with the nursing staff.
The officers attempted to subdue the teen, but he continued to kick and punch the officers and nurses.
The nurses were eventually able to give him some sedatives, but not before he urinated on one officer and caused injuries to the emergency workers.
The teen is now facing charges of Discharging Bodily Fluids at a Public Safety Worker, Battery to Law Enforcement, Resisting an Officer, Disorderly Conduct, Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, and four counts of Intentionally Contributing to the Delinquency of a Child.
