The Mishicot School District is thanking their voters for passing their referendum.
Superintendent Cory Erlandson explains that unofficial results from Election Day showed 2,276 yes votes while there were 1,462 no votes.
Erlandson continues saying that the district’s staff, administration, and School Board share their sincere appreciation with the community for their support while noting how critical the investments they will be able to make are.
The district will invest up to $29.6 million to address needs like an addition for a performing arts center and cafeteria.
The investment also includes site improvements to all three schools in the district and enhanced student programs including career and technical education areas.
Design of the approved referendum will begin immediately with the preliminary schedule calling for the improvements to begin starting in the spring of 2026.
Anyone with questions can send them to referendum@mishicot.k12.wi.us or directed to the district office at (920) 755-4633.
