The man charged in a deadly hit and run in Oconto County has had his bond set.
Obilio Tomas Sargento Roblero appeared inside an Oconto County courtroom yesterday (November 11th) for his initial appearance and had his bail set at $1 million.
Roblero has been charged with hit and run causing death, a felony offense.
The incident took place in the Town of Gillet on October 25th.
Roblero is accused of hitting Tom Roberts, a retired Green Bay Police Department Detective, with his SUV.
Roberts was later pronounced dead on the scene.
Following the hit and run, Roblero fled the scene and then the state but was later apprehended in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
Other conditions of his bond include maintaining absolute sobriety, no contact with Roberts’ family, and no discussing the case with anyone, namely his wife.
Roblero’s next scheduled appearance in court will be on November 20th for a preliminary hearing.
