Wrightstown Firefighters were able to prevent a fire from getting out of control.
They were called to the 800 block of County Road U on Monday (November 11th) for a possible structure fire. FireĀ alarms were sounding, and there was a smell of smoke in the hallway.
They got inside and found a Ninja cooking device on top of a stove with the burner turned on.
The oven caused the Ninja to melt, creating a lot of smoke in the apartment. Wrightstown Fire spent an hour venting the apartment to remove any smoke and ensure it was safe for the occupants to return.
A pet was also found in the structure, but it was okay.
Wrightstown firefighters also got a call about downed powerlines while working on the fire call, but the Hollandtown Fire Department took it.
