The application period is open again for the 2025 Manitowoc Police Citizen’s Academy.
The academy is designed to reach out to the community and invite them to learn more about the police department as well as what they do while also strengthening community support and involvement.
The Citizen’s Academy will have classes instructed by personnel of the MPD who will be open, honest, and candid about their duties and experiences as a law enforcement officer.
Topics of each class will include department operations, use of force, traffic stops, OWI, and Crime Scene Investigation among others.
Anyone interested can submit an application to Manitowoc Police by Tuesday, January 7th at 4:30 pm.
