Firefighters in Green Bay rescued an individual from a river.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department was called Wednesday (November 13th) at 3:45 a.m. on a report of a vehicle floating in the East River.
The initial call also claimed that a person was still trapped inside.
Arriving fire and emergency crews found one individual in the water.
The individual was able to escape the floating vehicle; however, they could not make it back to shore.
Firefighters then entered the water and successfully rescued the unnamed individual, bringing them safely out of the river.
Following the river rescue, the Green Bay Metro Fire Department thanked the Green Bay Police Department and Brown County Public Safety Communications for their assistance in the response.
