Kohler High School will be honoring a local hoops legend who recently passed.
At the Kohler Boys Basketball game against Sheboygan Falls on November 26th, their home and season opener, the school will honor Joe Wolf, who unexpectedly passed away in September.
A celebration program will be held in between the JV and varsity games which will be accompanied by special promotions and giveaways.
Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased inside the school’s main office.
Tickets cost $2 for seniors and students and $5 for adults, and entry is free for Kohler students.
Credit cards, cash, and checks will be accepted, and if not sold out, tickets will also be available the night of.
In Wolf’s playing career with the Blue Bombers, he led the team to three WIAA state championships.
He then went on to play his college ball at the University of North Carolina before being drafted 13th overall in the 1987 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Clippers.
At the time of his passing, Wolf was an assistant coach for the Milwaukee Bucks’ G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd.
Wolf was 59.
