A Manitowoc man charged with delivering drugs that ended up killing someone will be going to trial.
According to court records, 37-year-old Christopher Lee Ducat decided to reject a plea deal and set his case for trial.
Judge Anthony Lambrecht scheduled a pre-trial conference for May 29th at 9:00 am.
His trial is scheduled for June 30th.
Ducat was charged with 1st-degree reckless homicide/delivery of drugs after Manitowoc Police were called to the 900 block of South 23rd Street in July of last year after an unconscious person was found and later pronounced dead.
Fentanyl was found in the apartment and was used by the man before they died.
Police investigations later showed that Ducat communicated with the victim before the death.
Ducat also faces charges of manufacturing schedule I and II narcotics and manufacturing amphetamine.
