The suspect in an armed robbery in Appleton earlier this fall is now in custody.
The Appleton Police Department shared photos of the suspect on October 1st, and over the weekend, the United States Marshals Service in South Florida took the man into custody.
The initial incident occurred on September 29th at a local business in the 2200 block of South Oneida Street.
The male suspect entered the establishment, brandished a weapon, and demanded employees for money.
He then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
After Appleton Police released photos of the armed robber, with help from the public, a suspect was developed and later located in Florida.
Upon the arrest, the Appleton Police Department thanked residents, their staff, and law enforcement partners whose work on this case resulted in the arrest of the one responsible.
