The City of Appleton is updating its Comprehensive Plan and is inviting the public to voice their opinion.
Appleton will host a Comprehensive Plan open house tomorrow (November 19th) from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the ThedaCare Regional Center.
At the open house, interactive boards will be set up, offering attendees opportunities to voice concerns, suggest changes, and ask questions about the Comprehensive Plan.
A city’s Comprehensive Plan is a roadmap to the community’s future, laying out goals for housing developments, local parks, roads, and more.
Changes since the last update to the plan in 2017 have helped support an additional $3 billion in tax increment, along with the development of nearly 1,000 new residential units in the city.
The open house setup is intended to allow those interested in attending to come and go freely within the three-hour event.
The ThedaCare Regional Center is located at 1818 North Meade Street in Appleton, and the open house will be held in the Ironwood Conference Room.
