Brown County has announced the date most of their trails will close for the season.
Horse trails at the Reforestation Camp, Nashotah Park, and the Fox River Trail, along with the Reforestation Camp’s mountain bike trails, will close at dusk on Thursday (November 21st).
The horse and mountain bike trail closure coincides with the start of the gun deer hunting season, which starts on the 23rd and will take place in public parks across the county.
However, the Fox River Trail will remain open to pedestrians, in-line skaters, skateboarders, and bikers year-round as weather permits.
More information on the closures can be found online at browncountyparks.org.
Anyone with questions on the matter can call the County Parks office at 920-448-4466.
