One individual is in custody after making threats with a knife in Green Bay.
The Green Bay Police Department was called just after 2:45 p.m. yesterday (November 17th) after a witness heard a verbal altercation break out outside the A-1 Tower Motel.
The caller also told police the suspect, a 32-year-old Green Bay man, was making violent threats while wielding a knife.
Following the dispute, the suspect returned to his hotel room with another individual.
Green Bay SWAT and Crisis Negotiation responded to the scene to aid in a peaceful surrender.
Following a few hours of negotiations, the suspect was taken into custody at 5:45 p.m. without further incident.
No injuries were reported during the incident, and no further details have been released.
Charges for the 32-year-old have been referred to the Brown County District Attorney’s Office.
