The USDA has sent out ballots for several local county committee elections.
Each committee has from three to eleven elected members who serve three-year terms of office, and at least one seat is up for election each year for a certain Local Administrative Area (LAA).
Newly elected committee members will take office on January 1st.
W Michael Slattery is running to represent the townships of Cooperstown, Gibson, Kossuth, Mishicot, Two Creeks, and Two Rivers in Manitowoc County, while Kelvin Hinz and Jeremie Jensema are looking to represent the townships of Holland, Lima, Lyndon, Sherman, and Wilson in Sheboygan County.
In Calumet County, Bonnie Casper is on the ballot to represent the townships of Chilton, Rantoul, and Stockbridge. All ballots must be returned to your local FSA office or postmarked by December 2nd.
