The Two Rivers Police Department is getting some help in funding its K9 program.
Those who wish to help support the program and meet the two K9s who work for the department are encouraged to dine at Port Sandy Bay tonight (November 20th) between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m.
15% of all proceeds will go towards the program, which is still in its infancy.
K9 Xanti was officially partnered with Officer Lade in December of 2021, and since then he has been a key piece in the Department’s protection of the city.
The Department also acquired K9 Daisy, who has served as a therapy resource.
Both K9s will be on hand at the restaurant located at 6421 County Road O in Two Rivers tonight.
