One person is in jail in North Fond du Lac after using a firearm while drunk.
The North Fond du Lac Police Department was called yesterday morning (November 20th) to the 400 block of Harrison Street for reports of gunfire.
Before their arrival, North Fond du Lac officers were advised a male dialed 911, stating someone had fired a gun inside his apartment building.
He also told police no injuries were sustained, and he had kicked in the suspect’s door.
After their arrival on the scene, a North Fond du Lac woman was arrested.
She is currently in custody, facing charges of Disorderly Conduct and Possession of a Firearm While Intoxicated.
Police have said this was an isolated event, meaning there is no threat to the public.
No further information has been released as the investigation remains ongoing.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office assisted the North Fond du Lac Police Department in its response to the incident.
