Police in Sheboygan are investigating a shooting that took place over the weekend.
The Sheboygan Police Department and paramedics responded to the area of North 10th Street and Huron Avenue just before 2:30 a.m. yesterday (November 24th) for reported gunfire.
Once authorities arrived, two individuals with gunshot wounds were found at the scene.
The victims, 23- and 25-year-old Sheboygan men, were transported to hospitals in Milwaukee and Appleton to treat non-life-threatening injuries.
A suspect, a 28-year-old man, was quickly identified and brought into custody.
Sheboygan PD has referred charges for the suspect to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office.
The investigation remains ongoing, and there is no threat to the public at this time.
