Ronald Schroeder, known as “Silly the Clown,” was sentenced to 30 years in prison for the death of his infant daughter, Katie, in 1991.
Schroeder, who worked as a children’s entertainer in southeastern Wisconsin, was convicted of causing the death through shaken baby syndrome.
Although police initially investigated the case at the time, Schroeder wasn’t charged until much later.
He was also under suspicion for the alleged abuse of his girlfriend’s children.
Schroeder will be eligible for parole in 20 years.
