One man is in custody following the fatal shooting in Appleton over the weekend.
55-year-old Gregory Juedes of Kaukauna was arrested yesterday (November 25th) morning and has been accused of shooting and killing his father, 74-year-old Daniel Juedes Sr., on Sunday (November 24th).
Gregory is in the Outagamie County Jail and has been charged with First-Degree Intentional Homicide, Vehicle Operator-Fleeing/Eluding an Officer, and Obstruction.
The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the 1800 block of South Sanders Street on reports of a disturbance with a weapon.
Upon arrival, officers located Daniel with gunshot wounds.
Life-saving measures were attempted; however, he was pronounced dead.
As law enforcement arrived on the scene, a male in a vehicle quickly fled the location.
A police pursuit followed, which resulted in Gregory being brought into custody.
The fatal shooting is still under investigation, and no additional details are available at this time.
