It was a great night for the Manitowoc Lutheran Lancers during a boy-girl doubleheader with Two Rivers in basketball.
At Lancer’s Circle yesterday, The Lutheran girls team picked up a 70-30 win over the Raiders.
Senior “G” Ermis led the Lancers with a game-high 27 points and almost had a triple-double.
The Lancer’s girls’ team is now 2-0 on the season, while the Raiders fall to 0-2.
Two Rivers started with a lead for the boys’ game, but it quickly faded after the Lancers began to light it up from the three-point line en route to an 84-57 win.
Forward Will Franzen also had 27 points in the victory to lead Manitowoc Lutheran.
Carson Kadow and Eli Galagher lead the Raiders with 19 points, with Joe Johson chipping in 10.
Lutheran starts the season at 1-0, while Two Rivers is 0-1.
