Wisconsin Public Services (WPS) is advising everybody to be cautious when decorating for the Christmas season.
There are things you can do to help keep the electrical bill low and outlets from overflowing, including switching to LEDs, which use less energy and last up to 20 years.
WPS also recommends setting timers for the lights so they don’t stay on all night and to reduce the number of lights used.
Instead, you could add more tinsel to your tree to help enhance the brightness of the lights you already have.
