An area business is doing its part in aiding the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign.
TDS Telecom’s annual Week of Giving was kicked off by matching the funds raised at Red Kettles in the Plymouth, Green Bay, Fond du Lac, Fox Cities, Wausau, and Onalaska communities.
TDS pledged to match up to $10,000 in donations made across all sites, in addition to the $10,000 they donated to the Salvation Army food pantry in Green Bay this fall.
Drew Petersen, TDS Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs, said, “Investing in our communities is one of TDS’ core values. As we continue expanding services in the state, we’re proud to support the crucial work that the Salvation Army does to help those in need throughout Wisconsin and beyond.”
The money raised at the Red Kettles and the matching amount from TDS Telecom will support local programs in each community.
