One person is dead following a house fire in Door County.
The Door County Sheriff’s Office says they were notified of the house fire in the 4000 block of County Road in the Town of Nasewaupee yesterday (December 4th) just before 2:30 am.
A responding deputy reported the single-family home was fully engulfed in flames and that one of the residents was able to get out.
A second person was later found dead inside the residence.
Door County Lieutenant Kyle Veeser says emergency personnel from Nasewaupee, Southern Door, Brussels, Union, Gardner, Sturgeon Bay, and Algoma Fire Departments and sheriff’s deputies were all called to the scene.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office is assisting in the investigation of the incident.
No other information was released.
