The Menasha woman on trial for killing her boyfriend has been convicted.
54-year-old Catherine Cheskie’s three-day trial came to an end on Wednesday (December 4th), where a jury found her guilty of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide after shooting and killing her boyfriend, Thomas Guyette.
The deadly shooting took place on February 24th this year inside Cheskie’s home.
A resident home at the time heard the two arguing upstairs before hearing a gunshot.
The witness then went upstairs to find Guyette with a gunshot wound to his chest.
The man called 911, however, Guyette had died before EMS and police arrived at the scene.
At this time, no information regarding Cheskie’s sentencing has been made available.
