A local organization is set to begin its annual giving campaign.
Ascend Services of Manitowoc has announced the beginning of the campaign, and this year’s theme is, “Help us connect our clients to the community…and the world!”
This year, Ascend will be focusing on electronics and technology, which have become essential to everyday life.
They look to give those they serve the opportunity to enrich their lives and make connections through technology, however, they need the public’s help to do so.
Donations given to Ascend Services will help fund their new Learning and Technology Center, which will aid youth and adults living with disabilities in Manitowoc County.
Since 1957, Ascend has promoted individual growth by providing community experiences, education, and employment opportunities to individuals with disabilities.
