There will be a new alderman representing Manitowoc’s seventh district.
Current Alderman Tim Boldt filed a notice of noncandidacy on Monday (December 9th).
Anyone interested in running for the seventh district can submit paperwork to the Manitowoc City Clerk’s Office by January 7th.
Boldt is the first person to announce he will not run for another term after 10th District Alderman Todd Reckelburg announced he will run again for his seat.
Mayor Justin Nickels and businessman Jason Prigge have both announced their intent to run for the mayoral position.
The 2025 Spring Election is set for April 1st.
