The City of Sheboygan is expected to select its next Police Chief this weekend.
Sheboygan’s Police and Fire Commissioners have scheduled a special meeting for Saturday (December 14th) at 9:00 a.m.
At the meeting, they will discuss and interview the job finalists.
Last month, Kurt Zempel, Joel Kuszynski, and Doug Teunissen were selected as finalists.
Zempel has been the Assistant Chief of the Sheboygan Police Department for over twenty years.
Kuszynski, a 23-year veteran of the Sheboygan Police Department, is the Captain of Patrol. Teunissen, who joined the department in 1997, is currently the Captain of Investigations.
The current Chief of Police in Sheboygan, Chris Domagalski, announced his retirement in early November.
His last day will be January 20th.
