Marian G. Glaser, formerly of 5332 Hwy B Manitowoc, and a current resident of Wisteria Haus of Two Rivers, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, her 88th birthday, at the Wisteria Haus in Two Rivers, surrounded by her family.
Marian was born on December 9, 1936, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Lester and Esther (Stueck) Schultz. She grew up in the Two Rivers area and attended the Rangeline one-room school and St. John’s Lutheran School. Marian was a 1954 graduate of Two Rivers Washington High School. Marian worked in the purchasing department of Hamilton Manufacturing from 1955 through 1969 and the Mobil 310 Mart from 1993 until 2000. On June 15, 1968, Marian married Alan N. Glaser at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on January 31, 2014.
Marian enjoyed traveling, gardening, and getting together with family and former classmates. Most of all, she cherished time with her children and grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a member of the church choir and Ladies Society for many years and greatly appreciated her church family.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law: Lee (Christine) Glaser, Brian (Andrea) Glaser, David (Cheryl) Glaser all of Two Rivers; seven grandchildren: Tyler (Tiffany), Emily, Gage, Gavin, Grace, Ethan, and Luke; one great-grandson: Robert; two step-great-grandchildren: Jayden and Hudson; two brothers-in-law and seven sisters-in-law: Jerry & Barbara Glaser, Robert and Joan Glaser, Shirley Glaser, Nancy Glaser, Marlene Glaser, Rosie LeClair & Jean Messman, other relatives and friends survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Lester and Esther Schultz; her husband: Alan Glaser; one brother: Norman Schultz, brothers and sisters-in-laws Leonard and Gladys Mastroni, Clarence and Beverley Glaser, Henry and Betty Meyer. Brother-in-laws Joe, Harvey, Larry, Leroy, and Edward Glaser, Eugene LeClair and Jack Messman: sister-in-law Mildred Glaser.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 16, 2024, at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 3607 45th St. Two Rivers. Rev. John Berg will officiate with entombment to follow at the Knollwood Mausoleum, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at the Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, 1420 22nd St. on Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM and on Monday, December 16, 2024, at the Church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM. A Memorial Fund has been established in Marian’s name for St. John’s Ev. Lutheran church or St. John’s Ev. Lutheran School.
