A Milwaukee teen involved in a robbery that led to a police shooting on I-43 in June has been sentenced to prison.
On Wednesday, 17-year-old Tyrone Rogers received a seven-and-a-half-year sentence after pleading guilty to armed robbery, attempted armed robbery, and first-degree reckless endangerment.
Authorities say Rogers was part of a group that robbed a man in Milwaukee, then fled in the stolen vehicle, leading police on a high-speed chase that ended in a construction zone on I-43.
During the pursuit, two individuals, including a pregnant woman, were shot by officers. Their cases are still ongoing.
